SHINEFORM "The Making of KLING KLONG" A junkyard was the "playground" for the project KLING KLONG. The Object-Fusion was defined by the triad of fine arts with music and the real
ambience of a recycling company.
The most important resource of KLING KLONG were used metals at the
junkyard of metal recycling MüGu.In the course of the production process
of the artistic reprocessing scrap metal and metal parts from the
existing stock were welded and assembled into a sounding object by
Andreas Steiner. The sounds resulting from the production flow into the music of
Georg Edlinger and Volker Kagerer. Thus the fine arts and the acoustic reprocessing
fuse with the music of SHINEFORM into the overall manifestation KLING
KLONG. The Fusion szenario was additionally visualized by the performance
of Dietmar Bruckmayr who showed the human connection between: raw material-recycling-music. The original junkyard became a stage and as reusable
material was extracted from junk metals a new audible universe for the
visitors came into being by the "Recycling of the Sounds". Two recycling
processes - a real one and an artistic one merge in Kling Klong and the
viewer of the DVD experiences a sensual and at the same time powerful
performance. |
